Jerome Rothenberg, originator of the field of ethnopoetic and its greatest practitioner, gave two presentations at Deep South—a lecture, "Ethnopoetics at the Millenium," and a reading of his own poems. He and Diane, his wife, visited the country Mardi Gras festivities in LeJeune Cove while they were here. Click opposite for shots of the ethnographic action.
