for Excellence in English
Education
The
Virginia Wilson Cook Award for Excellence in English Education, established in
1977, recognizes the outstanding senior major in English education of the year.
It is given annually to the student with the highest grade point average among
all English majors in their senior year. The winner in both 2002 and 2003,
Angelina Hebert, had a grade point average of 3.9387.
