The
Owen Reamer Award for Excellence in English, established in 1977, is an annual
award recognizing the outstanding senior majoring in English. It is given to
the student with the highest grade point average among all English majors in
their senior year. The 2003 winner, Anne Terpening Falgout, had a grade point
average of 3.9727.
