FOR THOSE
ARRIVING BY AIR:
For those flying in to Lafayette discounts
are available from some of the major airlines. When making travel arrangements
please tell them you are with the consortium and give the identification number,
noted below, for the CRE convention rate. The Lafayette Airport is serviced
by the following airlines: Continental Express, Delta-Atlantic Southeast, Northwest
Airlink.
- Continental Airlines (connects to Lafayette
through Houston)
- 10% discount if reservation made 60 days
before your flight date
- 5% discount if reservation made less
than 60 days before flight date
- Continental also allows this discount
to be applied up to 5 days after the end of the conference for those who might
wish to stay and enjoy Mardi Gras in our fair city.
- To receive these discounts you must call
1-800-468-7022 and use the identification number VXX53P.
- Delta Airlines (connects to Lafayette
through Dallas and Atlanta)
- 10% discount off of basic priced ticket
if reservation made 60 days prior to your flight date
- 15% discount off of full coach priced
ticket if reservation made 60 days prior to your flight date
- 5% off either priced ticket if reservation
made after 60 days
- To receive these discounts you must call
1-800-241-6760 and use the identification number 191886A.
- Northwest Airlink (connects to Lafayette
through Memphis)
- 10% discount if reservation made 30 days
prior to your flight date
- 5% discount if reservation made after
30 days prior to your flight date
- If 20 people fly Northwest the window
for staying afterward is increased to 7 days and the 20th person gets a free
ticket!!!
- To date Northwest has not given us a
telephone or confirmation number these will be made available later on our
website.
FOR THOSE TRAVELING
BY CAR (Ground Transportation):
- The Hilton will provide a SHUTTLE SERVICE
from the Airport to the Hotel.
- Please dial the telephone number 235-6111
and ask to be picked up.
- Car Reservations
- Avis allows a 5% discount on rental cars
for those flying Continental and Delta Airlines.
