Statement:
My current research interests are in Commutative Algebra with an emphasis in
Ring and Module Theory. My interests in Ring Theory focus on the concept
of primeness. I also have a strong interest in math education focusing on
educating future and present K-12 math teachers.
Selected research publications:
-
Bipartite Graphs of Spectra of Certain Commutative Rings (with A. Li), in preparation.
-
Prime Ideals of Three-Dimensional Rings and their Two-Dimensional Quotient Rings, in preparation.
-
List Decoding Algorithms for Reed-Solomon Codes (with I. Fene, M. Gonzalez, J. Johnson, M. Lennon, and K. Pr'Out), submitted.
-
The Projective Line Over the Integers (with E. Celikbas),
Progress in Commutative Algebra 2: Closures, Finiteness and Factorization, to appear.
-
Prime ideals in birational extensions of two-dimensional power series rings (with M. Luckas and S. Saydam),
Communications in Algebra, to appear.
