Statement:
My original research interests were in topology. For most of the period since 1990 I have been involved in departmental administration. In recent years I have also become active in the MAA, and enjoyed a term as the Louisiana/Mississippi section chair. I also like finding or making up neat problems for high school students, which we post on our web page.
