2007 Louisiana Region VI Science and Engineering Fair Results

The 2007 Louisiana Region VI Science and Engineering Fair, sponsored by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, was held March 3, 2007 on campus at the Student Union. Approximately 300 students representing 50 schools from Acadia, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry and St. Martin parishes were involved in the competition. The results by Division and Category follow:

The Senior Division Overall, Runner-up and first place Team projects are all eligible to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair which will be held May 13-18 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Each first place winner in the Junior Division is eligible to compete in the Discovery Young Scientist Challenge. The top 40 projects in the nation will compete in Washington, D. C. in the Fall 2007.
