The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is one of the top 100 public research universities in the nation. That’s according to a report by The Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government. It describes the growing role that colleges and universities play in economic development and community revitalization. CAVE Dwellers
|
A newly formed consortium of UL Lafayette faculty members is bringing supercomputing and 3D visualization to more academic research projects.
This approach could speed up conventional research processes. The Computation and Visualization Enterprise or CAVE consortium is an extension of the partnership between UL Lafayette and the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE).
An interdisciplinary team of 15 LITE Fellows will collaborate on projects that connect LITE’s technology and UL Lafayette’s brain power. |
