| Event: Welcome Week Doughnut and Fruit Giveaway Date: Monday, Aug. 21, 2006 Time:7:30 a.m. Location: corner of Rex Street and St.. Mary Boulevard Information: UL Lafayette students will be welcomed to campus on the first day of classes with doughnuts and fruits. Administrators, coaches and faculty will be handing out the breakfast treats starting at approximately 7:30 a.m. just as students are heading to 8 a.m. classes. The giveaway is part of a week-long celebration “Welcome Week.” Later in the week, students can enjoy Get on Board Day with various organizations on campus and a Dive In Movie. On Friday, free breakfast will be served in the Quad and a block party will close off Rex Street at 11 a.m. Media coverage is invited. |
