| FASHION SHOW KICKS OFF FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS | |||||||||||||||||||

| Event: UL Lafayette Fashion Show Date: Monday, March 22, 2010 Time: 6 p.m. Location: LITE Center, 537 Cajundome Blvd. Information: First-year design studio students and senior fashion design students at UL Lafayette will showcase their avant-garde creations as the 2010 Festival of the Arts kicks off this week. Many of the students are using non-traditional materials for their creations, which will be accompanied by multi-media presentations by visual arts students. The Festival continues through March 27 when a Festival Finale will take place at Dupré Library on campus. A. Hays Town will be honored with the SPARK Lifetime Achievement Award during the finale.
