FRENCH OPERA GROUP TO APPEAR AT UL LAFAYETTE
 
Group Opera Junior of Montpellier, France will perform at UL Lafayette’s Ducrest-Gilfry Auditorium in Angelle Hall on Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The young group of singers is associated with the Montpellier Opera. Singers range in age from 17 – 24 years old.

The group will perform French works by Massenet, Berlioz, Poulenc, Ravel and others. Admission for this event is $10 for adults, $5 for children and free for UL Lafayette faculty, students and staff with their current I.D.

The group’s conductor will present a masterclass for UL Lafayette vocal students and the community on Feb. 18 at 3:30 p.m. in Angelle Hall. All are invited to attend. There is no charge for the masterclass.
