The UL Lafayette Percussion Ensembles will present their annual “Big Bang” world percussion concert on April 11 and 12 in Ducrest-Gilfry Auditorium of Angelle Hall.
Special guest artists include Luis Benetti and Lisa Pegher. The percussion ensemble productions will include Caribbean steel drums, Brazilian samba band, Afro-Cuban and Marimba ensembles, Indonesian Gamelan, Japanese Taiko, African drum and dance and much more.
Both shows are at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $10 at the door. UL Lafayette students and faculty with current ID get in free.
