The UL Lafayette Jazz Ensemble will perform on Tuesday in Fletcher Auditorium (on the corner of Lewis Street and Girard Park Drive) at 7:30 p.m.
The venue for this free concert features new auditorium seats plus limited table space. The Ensemble will perform 18 pieces of great big band music featuring tunes from Count Basie, Bill Watrous, John LaBarbera, Don Ellis, Latin Giants, Astor Piazzolla, WDR from Cologne, Tom Kubis, Maria Schneider and Rob McConnell.
A new work by UL Lafayette student composer, David Boudreaux, will also be featured.
