Administration Staff

 
Serena Mandella – Director
Native of Abbeville, Louisiana. Graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette earning Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, with ESL Certification.
Hobbies include gardening, quilting, needlecraft, outdoor activities and cooking.
29 years of child care experience.
The CDC wishes to create a unique community for the children providing an environment that is safe, nurturing and stimulating. The ultimate goal is to have our children become confident, successful and responsible members of our diverse society. It is our privilege to have all children enrolled in our program.

 
Patti Viator Endsley – Health and Nutrition Provider/Administrator Assistant
Native of New Iberia, Louisiana. Graduated first in her class as a Licensed Practical Nurse, earned a Child Development Associate Credential with a specialization in Infant Toddler. Presently serve as a Child Care Health Consultant with the Department of Health and Hospitals and a Medic First Aid trainer. Hobbies include scrap booking, skeet shooting, hunting and fishing.
Has worked in child care for 14 years.
Believes children learn through play, that staff facilitates experiences so that children have a variety of learning experiences.

 
Susan Arceneaux – Assistant Director/Program Coordinator
Born in Flagstaff, Arizona; raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. Bachelors of Science in Human Resources – Child and Family Studies. PreK 3 course work completed for certification.
Hobbies include gardening, cooking, all outdoor activities, and cross word puzzles. Has worked in child care for 3 years.
Believes that early learning experiences should consist of many hands on activities that are personal to each individual child. A huge factor in a child’s learning is the bond between teacher, child and family. Communication is the key.
