Residual Testing for the ACT

An on-campus or residual testing program is provided for ACT-participating colleges to administer the ACT to enrolled or admitted students who were unable to test on a national test date.

How it Works

  • Results are reported only to the college administering the test.  No Student Reports or High School Reports are generated, and no Additional Score Reports will be generated to report scores to any other institution.
  • Results can not be used for scholarships.
  • Testing can be conducted on any date except an ACT national test date.
  • Students may not repeat residual testing until 60 days have passed since their previous testing.  If you choose to test without sixty days elapsing, your score will be nullified.
You must call to schedule an appointment to take the test
The cost is $60 and can be paid with cash only.

Your residual test scores are for UL only.  Scores will be forwarded to Junior Division and Enrollment Services within one week.

You may schedule a residual ACT by contacting the University Testing Center.  Be prepared to give your name, address, birth date, telephone number, and social security number in order to make an appointment.   We cannot register you without this information.

You are not allowed to write in the ACT book, therefore, we will supply scratch paper.

You MUST present a valid drivers license, state ID card, or passport, 2, #2 pencils, a calculator and $60.00 CASH in order to take the test.

The testing time is approximately four hours.
