Allergy Injections. SHS will work in cooperation with a student's allergist to administer, monitor, and evaluate allergy injections. Call for current fee.

IV Therapy. SHS has (5) in-house beds for seriously ill patients during our regular hours of operation only. This allows us to provide a comfortable setting for Intravenous (I.V.) therapy in our facility. We initiate, administer, and monitor patients during the day, and when necessary, may refer them to a medical facility for continued care or re-evaluation.

Prescriptions. Medication prescribed by a SHS practitioner may be filled in our small in-house pharmacy, which is very cost sensitive and convenient. Our practitioners' prescriptions may be filled at any pharmacy.

Other Services Provided:
TB (tuberculosis) screening, nebulizer treatments, drawing blood for lab work, X-ray orders, routine blood pressure checks, medical specialist referral, dental referral.

Services Not Offered: Dental care, obstetrical care, and major surgical procedures are not available at SHS. In addition, motor vehicle accident related injuries, work related injuries, assaults involving litigation, orthopedic physicals, athletic physicals and immigration physicals are not seen at SHS. Our staff can provide local referrals for these services. The university does not provide transportation.
