Our Heritage

Delta Beta Chapter was founded on the University of Louisiana campus in 1956. For over 50 years, the chapter has strived to live up to the ideals of the fraternity and share in its bonds of sisterhood worldwide.

AOII's Quick History

Founded:

January 2, 1897 at Barnard College, Columbia University in New York, NY.

Founders:

Stella George Stern Perry, Helen St. Clair Mullan, Elizabeth Heywood Wyman, and Jessie Wallace Hughan.

Fraternity Magazine:

To Dragma (meaning "The Sheaf") was first published in 1905.
