Beacon Club Fundraisers

All funds raised in any Beacon Club fundraiser is available to the SSD office to aid in defraying the high cost of specialized equipment and services that assist individuals with disabilities in reaching their academic potential.

UL Lafayette Cookbook
Recipes are provided by UL Lafayette faculty, staff, alumni, and students

• Cookbooks are now being sold for $5 each! Cookbook sales are deposited into the Beacon club account.
• Great for Stocking Stuffers, Birthdays, and other Special Occasions.
• Cookbooks are on sale all year long in the SSD Office.  Call 482-5252 or email us at beaconclub@louisiana.edu to place orders.  Local Delivery Available.

Useful Memories Project
Useful Memories is a fundraising project that incorporates ceramic items which are also functional.  During the Fall 2007 semester, children enrolled in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Child Development Center painted personalized, unique bowls that will be used for cereal, gumbo, salad, etc.

Be on the lookout for future Useful Memories projects.
