The UL Karate Club has had a rich history and is proud to recognize the achievements of its graduates!

Dr. Radhouanne Chouchane
Radhouanne Chouchane was one of the founding members of the karate club. In Spring 2007, Mohamed competed in the Brown Belt division at the All South Championships and won 1st in Kumite and 2nd in Kata. Shortly after, he earned his black belt from Sensei Mikami. In Fall 2007, Mohamed became the president of the club until Spring 2008, when he moved to Columbus, GA.

Dr. Chouchane currently works at Columbus State University asAssistant Professor of Computer Science and Associate Director of the Center for Information Assurance Education.

Cheung Kong Fok
Cheung Kong Fok was one of the club's earliest practitioners. He attended the university from 2007-2008, which gave the karate club the privilege to train with him.

After his time at UL, Cheung became a consultant for Fusion Systems Japan as part of an 8-month internship. He has also attended the Intercultural Institute of Japan, UTT, and the School of CMIS.
