What is the MBA Association?

The MBA Association (MBAA) is a graduate-level student organization designed to enhance the MBA experience. Since its creation, the MBAA has served as an effective conduit between our students, the community, and business leaders from around the globe. The goals of the MBAA are to:

• Promote personal and professional growth outside of the classroom setting
• Nourish a strong, lasting sense of comradery between our fellow students
• Develop extensive professional networks to benefit both students and business leaders
• Uphold a positive professional image of the MBA Program

In order to achieve these goals, our officers are constantly working to develop and execute a diverse series of events that can be enjoyed by all members of the association. These events provide great opportunities for professional development, networking, socializing, and recreational activities.

1. A job searches link has been added to the website. Click on the button to reveal job searches sites for the area and nationwide.
2. If you are interested in participating in any intramural sports, contact Matt Casbon. If there are enough members, teams can be put together to represent the MBA Association.

4. Our second philanthropy event will be the 2009 Greater Acadiana Start! Heart Walk on Saturday, November 7 beginning at 8 am. Visit the philanthropy page for more information.
