The ULSNA fully supports the Hurricanes Katrina and Rita relief efforts. Our hearts go out to our students and their families in the wake of this tragedy, as well as to all of those who found themselves in Katrina's and Rita's path. Due to the number of University of Louisiana students who call the affected areas home, the ULSNA takes a special interest in the gathering of donations for victims of these disasters. One thing the ULSNA is suggesting on a local level the donation of blood. Monetary contributions from bake sales, can shakes, barbecue sales or general fund-raising can be sent to the relief effort of your choice. Any of the supplies on this list can be gathered and sent to local agencies supporting those who have been displaced by the storms.
