Dr. Jeff Sandoz, assistant professor in UL Lafayette's College of Education, has donated a substantial collection of history videos and books to Dupré Library.

The collection includes The World at War (HBO), Brute Force: The Definitive History of War Technology (A&E), Battlefield [WWII] (Time-Life), Land of the Eagle [about America] (Time-Life), Hitler: The Whole Story (A&E), and World War II (Time). The total number of videos in these series is 74.

In addition, Sandoz gave the library the 19-volume Time-Life book series The Third Reich and the six-volume Time-Life series The Civil War. He also donated his mother's edition of Carl Sandburg's Abraham Lincoln in six volumes, which is a classic set.

The videos and books will be placed in Dupré Library's circulating collection, so that they may be checked out by the university community.
