On Friday, Sept. 2, college sports fans across the nation will be donning their favorite college colors as part of the inaugural celebration of College Colors Day. Fans of Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns will be no different with their red and white attire.

The celebration, being introduced by Collegiate Licensing Company, seeks to celebrate the traditions and spirit that drive collegiate athletics by encouraging fans, alumni and students to wear apparel of their favorite college to work and school on Sept. 2.

Don’t have red in your closet? No problem. Visit these locations for Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns merchandise: Academy Sports and Outdoors, Albertson’s, Bell’s Sporting Goods, Follett’s --The Book Store, Golfballs.com Inc., LIDS, Louisiana Hot Stuff, Sports Avenue, University Bookstore and Wal-Mart.

Join the fun and show your support for Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns, who kick off the 2005 football season Sept. 3 in Austin against the Longhorns. The Ragin’ Cajuns return to Cajun Field on Sept. 17 to take on Northwestern State. Get your tickets at the Cajundome.
