The University of Louisiana at Lafayette will celebrate as Homecoming 2005 activities from Oct. 23 through Oct. 29 take place. Every one is invited to join the fun. This year's theme is “There's No Place Like Home.”

On Oct. 24 activities get into full swing with the Alumni Association's annual Kick Off Party. This party officially opens Homecoming week and includes lots of fun.

Everyone is invited to show their support for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns during this event at the Alumni Center starting at 4:30 p.m. Visitors will enjoy great food and great entertainment by Terry and the Zydeco Bad Boys.

The event will feature the UL Lafayette Homecoming Court, Pride of Acadiana Marching Band, Ragin' Cajun cheerleaders and Ragin' Jazz.

In addition to the Kick Off party, UL Lafayette students are invited to enjoy free cake at 11:45 a.m. at the Student Union along with a Spirit Banner competition.

The Homecoming game is Oct. 29 when Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns take on Troy University at Cajun Field starting at 4 p.m.
