Tickets are now on sale for the Ragin’ Cajuns Country Kickoff featuring Tracy Lawrence.

The Grammy-nominated, Nashville recording artist will perform at Blackham Coliseum on Friday, Sept. 22, along with local artist Clay Cormier and Grammy winner Wayne Toups.

Lawrence has had eight No. 1 singles on the Billboard country music charts, including “Sticks and Stones” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.”

The event celebrates the start of the 2017 Ragin’ Cajuns’ Sun Belt Conference games.

Proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana and the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation.

Cormier will take the stage at 6 p.m. He’ll be followed by Toups, who has been called the “Cajun Springsteen” for his energetic performances of a blend of traditional Cajun music, zydeco music and rock ’n’ roll. Lawrence’s performance will begin at about 8 p.m.

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and the Cajundome Box Office.
