International Student Requirements

Transfer Admission Requirements

International students are considered for guaranteed transfer admission if they:

Earned 24 or more credit hours (excluding developmental/remedial coursework)

  • Are eligible to return to the most recent institution attended.
  • Submit a transcript from an accredited or ministry-approved college or university Original documents and official translations are required.
  • Have a cumulative college GPA of 2.25 once converted to the U.S. scale (excluding developmental/remedial coursework)
  • Have successfully completed college-level English and mathematics courses.
  • If transferring from a University outside of the U.S., have a valid English proficiency score consisting of ONE of the following:
    • TOEFL iBT- 70
    • TOEFL (paper-based)- 523
    • TOEFL (computer-based)-195
    • PTE-50
    • IELTS- 6.0
    • Old SAT Critical Reading- 450 or New SAT Writing & Language- 25, Old SAT Mathematics- 460 or New SAT Mathematics- 500
    • ACT English- 18, ACT Mathematics- 19

*Note: Applicants who provide SAT or ACT scores must meet both Critical Reading/English and Math requirements.

Earned fewer than 24 credit hours (excluding developmental/remedial coursework)

  • Are eligible to return to the most recent institution attended.
  • Submit a transcript from an accredited or ministry-approved college or university Original documents and official translations are required.
  • Have a cumulative college GPA of 2.25 once converted to the U.S. scale (excluding developmental/remedial coursework)
  • Have successfully completed college-level English and mathematics courses.
  • Submit an acceptable secondary credential demonstrating the equivalent of high school graduation. Both the original document and an official translation are required.
  • Have a high school core subject GPA of at least 2.5 once converted to the U.S. scale. Original documents and official translations are required.
  • If transferring from a University outside of the U.S., have a valid English proficiency score consisting of ONE of the following:
    • TOEFL iBT- 70
    • TOEFL (paper-based)- 525
    • TOEFL (computer-based)- 195.
    • IELTS- 6
    • Old SAT Critical Reading- 450 or New SAT Writing & Language- 25, Old SAT Mathematics- 460 or New SAT Mathematics- 500
    • ACT English- 18, ACT Mathematics- 19
