Burdin Speaker Series to feature business talk

The B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration will host Hardik Savalia as part of its Burdin Speaker Series.

Savalia’s talk is titled “B Corps: Using Business as a Force for Good.” It will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 14 in Moody Hall, Room 103. The free event is open to the public.

Savalia is senior associate of standards for B Lab. The nonprofit certifies and supports B Corporations. He oversees development of the B Impact Assessment, an online tool used by more than 40,000 businesses to measure their company's impact on society and on the environment.

Prior to joining B Lab, Savalia worked for the Urban Affairs Coalition in Philadelphia. He is an Enviromental Leadership Program Fellow and business alumnus from Boston University.
