Guaranteed Admission

In-State Freshman

If you graduated from a high school in Louisiana and you’re applying as a freshman, you must meet the following requirements for admission:

  • 18 ACT English or 500 SAT Evidence-based Reading & Writing
  • 19 ACT Math or 510 SAT Math
  • 2.0 cumulative GPA (unweighted)
  • Complete Louisiana Board of Regents Core 4 Curriculum (19 units) with a 2.5 GPA
    • This core GPA requirement is waived if you have a 23 ACT Composite or 1130 SAT Composite

Out-of-State and Home Schooled Freshman

If you graduated from a high school outside Louisiana or you were home schooled, you must meet the following requirements for admission:

  • 18 ACT English or 500 SAT Evidence-based Reading & Writing
  • 19 ACT Math or 510 SAT Math
  • 2.0 Cumulative GPA (unweighted)
  • Plus one of the following:
