Visit with Us
Feel the welcome.
Want to experience real Ragin’ Cajun spirit? Join us for a campus tour and feel the welcome in person! We offer weekday tours, selective Saturday tours, and unique Campus Events.
Weekday Tours
Fall and Spring semester campus tours will be offered Monday-Thursday at 9 a.m and 1 p.m. and Friday at 9 a.m. only.
Pre-registration for your tour is required. Your visit to campus will begin with a presentation from an Admissions Counselor, followed by a walking tour of campus led by a current UL Lafayette Student Ambassador. Your campus visit will last approximately 1hours.
With a minimum of two weeks notice, we may be able to schedule a meeting with a faculty member in the area you wish to major in based on availability. We want to make your visit to campus the best that it can be!
On the day of your visit, plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time at the Office of Recruitment Services, located in the French House at 1511 Johnston St. on the corner of Johnston Street and St. Mary Blvd. Parking is available immediately behind our building. You will be issued a visitor parking permit upon your arrival. Tours will depart promptly at your scheduled tour time!
Plan on visiting our campus with your school or community group? All group tours must be pre-registered through our campus tour coordinator at campusvisit@louisiana.edu.
Saturday Tours
Can’t make it during the week? No problem! The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment offers campus tours on selective Saturdays during the year. Saturday tours depart at 10 a.m.
Pre-registration for Saturday campus tours is required due to limited space.
Saturday campus tours begin with a walking tour of campus led by a current UL Lafayette Student Ambassador. In addition to the tour of campus, you have the opportunity to tour one of our brand new residence halls. Please be aware that major meetings with faculty members will not be available on Saturdays. Schedule a weekday tour or sign up for Preview Day for this option.
Visitors attending Saturday tours will park in front of Martin Hall. For driving directions, view a Google Map.
