LAFAYETTE - UL Lafayette’s School of Music will present ‘An Evening of Chamber Music’ on Nov. 18 starting at 7:30 p.m. at Asbury Methodist Church.

The concert will feature works by Beethoven, Brahms, Piazzolla, and Milhaud. It will conclude with a performance of French composer Darius Milhaud's "La Creation du Monde".

Written for a 19-member chamber orchestra, this work explores some of the first writing for Jazz music in a classical setting.
