Ragin' Cajuns basketball season ticket holders and fans are invited to a Ragin' Cajuns Basketball Pick-up Party at the Baja Sports Bar and Grill on Bertrand Drive, Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Fans can meet the Ragin' Cajuns basketball players and coaches, and season ticket holders can pick-up their tickets. Season tickets may also be ordered, and as a special this year, men's basketball season ticket holders will also receive women's basketball season tickets at no additional cost.
“ This is a fantastic way for our fans to get to know the players, including our 9 returning letterwinners,” said men's basketball head coach Robert Lee. “Our Ragin' Cajuns fans are the best.”
“ Our team is looking forward to the season getting under way,” said women's basketball head coach Errol Rogers. “And the team is looking forward to meeting the fans at the Pick-up Party.”
Both men's and women's teams will host 15 home games, including 8 double-headers at the Cajundome. Fans who have already ordered their season tickets will be able to pick them up at this event, plus receive a special Ragin' Cajuns gift, while supplies last.
The Rebounders Club will also kick off their membership drive for 2008-09. Club membership includes lunches with the coach throughout the season, plus other extras.
Refreshments, courtesy of Baja Sports Bar and Grill on Bertrand Drive, will be served.
