UL Lafayette’s Hospitality and Marketing Department will host C’est Magnifique – an evening of food, spirits and celebration at 7 p.m. on April 21 at the UL Lafayette Alumni Center.
The event is a fundraiser to benefit the UL Lafayette Marketing and Hospitality Department.
Food from 25 of Acadiana’s finest restaurants will be paired with fine wine. Organizers have also planned both silent and live auctions.
Tickets are $50 per person and dress is business attire.
The event provides on-hand experience for hospitality students by giving them the opportunity to display skills learned in the classroom and apply it to their future careers. Seniors will be able to network with some of the area’s best chefs while underclassmen will help with the setting, cleaning tables, promoting the event, selling tickets and securing items for the auctions.
