Four 4.0 Students Recognized During Commencement

Four students from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette were honored for perfect 4.0 grade point averages during Fall commencement exercises on Dec 18.

The four were UL Lafayette’s top graduates for the Fall 2010 semester. They include:

• Samantha Christine Debevec, daughter of Billy Debevec of Alexandria and Rebecca Guidry of Shalimar, Fla. Debevec received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Ray P. Authement College of Sciences. She majored in biology.

• Yancey Herve Nakeu Mbolda, is the son of Mbolda and Adelaide of Garova, Cameroon. Mbolda received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Engineering. He majored in electrical engineering.

• Tami Thomas Richard, wife of Brock Richard of Breaux Bridge and daughter of Dave and Roxeann Thomas of Youngsville. Richard received a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration from the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration. She majored in management.

• Jason Paul Thibodeaux, son of Ronald and Vicky Thibodeaux of Lafayette. Thibodeaux received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Engineering. He majored in industrial technology.

Each semester the university recognizes its top graduates. This semester the graduates were honored during the General Assembly ceremony.
