Mary Karnath Wins 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award

Mary Karnath of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award at UL Lafayette. The Caffery Award competition encourages UL Lafayette students to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Karnath is a graduate student studying History. Her winning paper is The University of Louisiana’s Growth under the New Deal’s Public Works Administration.
